At the border with Russia


Zhao Xue has an MA in International Journalism at City University London, UK. She is now residing in Beijing — her hometown, working at the United Foundation for Children’s Health, coordinating China Earthquake Relief Project, a program sponsored by the WHO, which gives training on “Somatic Experiencing” to psychology professionals and teachers in the earthquake affected areas in Sichuan. After the training in January 2010, Zhao is going to help setting up the Asia Institute for Disaster Relief and Training.

Since April 2009, she’s been co-operating with Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma on projects related to the Sichuan Earthqauke.
April 2009, Zhao Xue did an internship at China Dialogue in London, UK.
March 2009, was a Camera Operator and Editor for reporters from China Daily reporting on the G20 in Oxford and London, UK.
Over Christmas 2008, did an internship at CBC in Montreal, Canada.

From Sep.2007 to Aug.2008, worked at The World’s Beijing Office, a co-production of BBC Word Service and Public Radio International.

From Sep.2003 to Jul.2007, studied English and Psychology at Capital University of Economics and Business in Beijing, China.
